I read "Singer Wanted".

One day Jenny and her friend Daniela found a poser "Singer Wanted". The band was a Hot Rock, and Daniela liked Rock musics, so she wanted to be a new singer. Then their friend, Gemma came to them, and asked about the poster. On Saturday, Daniela went to the audition, but Gemma was there too. And Gemma was a really good singer, so Daniela thought she couldn't win Gemma. After the audition, the band members talked and decided new singer. The new singer was Gemma. So Daniela lost her confidence. However, Gemma was very selfish and arrogant, so the band member couldn't bear her attitude. So, they asked Daniela to join the rock band and to be a new singer. 

I learned it is not enough for people to have talent from this story. Our attitude has a great influence on others. So we have to be careful our attitude. 

Old Boat, New Boat

I read "Old Boat, New Boat."

One day in evening, Mr.Walsh and his son, Ryan were putting his old boat on the beach. But it was a illegal dumping. Next morning, boys and a girl found that boat. And they thought they could fix it. So they asked one garbage collector to give it to them. The man agreed, and he said he would help repair the boat. Boys and a girl worked to get some money, because they have to buy some parts of boat and paint.On Saturday, they finished to fix the boat. And they take the boat to the beach. Then, Ryan found it, and he came to them and said "My boat looks great now!" "That's my boat. I want it back." But they claimed the boat was theirs, and the garbage collector, Mr. Robinson charged him the money for illegal dumping. In the end, Ryan gave up, and went back. 

I think Ryan was so stupid. He didn't follow the rules and asked to return after the boat was fixed, it was too selfish. 

The Cave

I read "The cave"

One day John, Daniela, Tyler, Faye and David were in their boat, and while driving a boat, they found a cave. They thought it looked so interesting, so they decided to enter the cave. Inside of the cave, there were a lot of old things, and traces like someone was living. Also it was dark and cold in the cave. Daniela didn't like the cave, so she suggested to went out of this cave. When they tried to go out, the water was coming into the cave, and high, they couldn't out. They looked for other exit, then Tyler found a ladder. So they climbed the ladder, but the exit door was locked with a key. However, David found the key, so they tried to open it. Luckily, the door open. They could out of the cave. 

I felt the importance of friendship from this story. They Together they were able to get out of the cave. By working with someone, we can make a big powers or difference. 

Rain, Rain, Rain!

"It's a school holiday. Oh no!"

I read "Rain, Rain, Rain!".

On a rainy Monday, a girl named Faye thought "I don't want to go to school." because she didn't like the rain. School starts at 9 o'clock, but when she looked at the clock said 8:20. She thought "I'm late for school." So she didn't eat a breakfast and didn't hear her mother's words. She was in a hurry, but on the way, she was almost hit a dog, and fell off her bike. Her bike was broken, so she decided to get on a train. However, the tree lay in front of the train, and the train was stuck. Then she want to the bus stop, but she couldn't be in in time, the bus left in front of her. So she ran to the school, but the school was closed, the day was a school holiday.

It's common to round and round some issues or behaviors, so I really understand this story. The best way is to calm down everything. We won't have any trouble if we can do that...

Dino's Day in London

I read "Dino's Day in London".

Tommy Grant was a TOP TAXI driver in London. One day, his boss Sam telephoned him in early morning. He asked Tommy to drive a film star's son, Dino. And, Tommy received a letter and 50￡ as a pocket money for Dino from the film star.  The letter said ''Please take Dino to Buckingham palace, Harrods, and British Museum.'' Tommy went to the meeting location before 15 minutes, but a boy was sitting on a chair already. He said he was a Dino, so he and Tommy started driving. First, Tommy drove to Buckingham Palace, but Dino told Tommy that he didn't want to see such old place. Tommy was said ''Be very nice to the boy'' by his boss, so he had no choice but to obey Dino. Dino demanded a lot of money at a cheap shop and ate a burger for a lunch. After finished the drive, Tommy took him the hotel where they met. When Tommy stopped the hotel, a very beautiful woman asked him. The woman was a film star, and mother of Dino. And she took Tommy to the hotel, and she said "This is Dino." So Tommy was so upset, and he said "But this can't be Dino." He looked at his taxi, but Dino isn't there.  At the same time, Tommy's boss,Sam, was at home, and his son Billy came back his house. Billy said today's school day was very good. 

I think this story was so interested. Actually, real Dino was waiting Tommy all day, and fake Dino was a Sam's son Billy. I read back to the first scene of this story, then Billy heard of his father's conversation. So he know about the place of meeting hotel, and the time Tommy came. 

Sarah's Surprising

I read "Sarah's Surprising".

Sarah stared to work at cafe, The Lagoon today. Ji-Sung worked at The Lagoon too. The cafe's owner, Mrs.Hayes showed Sarah the things in the cafe such as drinks and the  food. Ji-Sung and Sarah was working in the cafe. While minutes later, Mrs. Hayes said "I'm going out now." Later, a man came into the cafe, and he asked Sarah " Is Janet here?" But, Sarah didn't know the name.  Then, the man said "Mrs. Hayes. Where is her?" Sarah said " She is shopping." Then, the man takes some sandwiches, and put them in his bag. And he didn't pay the money. So Sarah was so surprised, and wanted to ask Ji-Sung, but he didn't look at him. So, later she told about the man. They decided to call police, and Sarah told the police officer about the man. When they talk with police, Mrs.Hayes came back to the cafe. And then, the man came back to The Lagoon. Mrs. Hayes introduce the man as her husband. So Sarah was very surprised. "Oh? He's your husband..."

I have part-time job too, so I was able to sympathize with being unfamiliar. I made a lot of mistakes st first, so I will continue to do my best and grow myself.

Goodbye, Hello!

I read ''Goodbye, Hello!".

One day, Alex and his sister Daniela went to big store to buy present for their mother's birthday. But Alex was interested in snowboards, not his mother's present. When he looked snowboards, a little girl was coming with a shopping cart. The little girl was not looking, so she couldn't see Alex. The girl hit Alex, so he fell into the snowboard. He was very angry with the little girl. Then, a girl in red came to them. "Say sorry to the boy, Jessica!" said the girl. Alex looked the girl in red, and he thought "She was very beautiful!"  She went away, but he wanted to talk her. So he chased the girl, but she got into the car. He was so disappointed, and thinking about her in his class. However, the girl was a transfer student in Alex's class! So he was able to met her again.

I also wanted to met a destined person like this story. I don't believe the existence of Mr. Right, but I felt it interesting in the story. 

Get the Ball!

I read ''Get the Ball!''

One day, there was a big soccer game. The red team are playing the Blues. It was a good game, so everyone wanted the ball. The match heated up,and the blue team player pushed the red player to get the ball. So referee alerted the player. In the end, the red team scored a goal and ties up. Player on the blue team also played a similar violent play. So the player on the red team got angry and kicked the ball at the blue player. But the ball went fer away, so the blue team player went to the ball. The ball was on the construction site. When the player take the ball, a red team player pushed the blue player. So the blue player was angry, but actually the red player tried to help form some falling bags. The blue team player noticed it, and thanked the red player. Finally, the two player settled.

I was impressed by the player of the red team, because he can protect the blue player even he is opponent. I felt that I wanted to be a person who can judge quickly in life-threatening situations.

Bad Dog?Good Dog!

I read ''Bad Dog?Good Dog!''

Yoon-Hee and Ji-Sung are brother and sister. One day,they were asked to go shopping from their mother. Yoon-Hee（sister）was willing to help her mom, but Ji-Sung didn't want to do. On the way to shops, they met their friend, Farina. Farina's dog had puppies then, so she couldn't go shopping with them. Also, she had to take care for puppies, she couldn't take her dog for a walk. So Yoon-Hee and Ji-Sung decided to take her dog for a walk instead of Farina, but Ji-Sung didn't want to. They talked and decided that Ji-Sung would see the dog, while Yoon-Hee was shopping. However, Ji-Sung was absorbed in the game and did not look at the dog. So the dog ran away with meat. They chased the dog, finally, they arrived at Farina's house. The dog wanted to give the meat to the puppies. Yoon-Hee felt the dog was a good dog and father.

I learned it was not good for us to make a decision just by looking a little. Most important things are in the background. I thin I want to be a person who can consider some issues deeply.

The Emperor's new clothes

I also read ''The Emperor's new clothes''.

Long ago, there was a emperor who likes fashion. One day, two rogues came to the emperor's town. And they said they could make most beautiful clothes which have features that  people with simple character or those who are not fit for the office couldn't see it. The emperor thought I can distinguish the wise from foolish by using it. So the emperor asked for work.
The emperor was interested in their work, but he could't see it because he was afraid of invisible the clothes. So emperor asked his subordinates to see works of two rogues. Both of subordinates couldn't see the clothes, but they told a lie to emperor that they could see it. Because they didn't want to admit that they wasn't fit for the office. Eventually, emperor also couldn't see the finished clothes. But he afraid he wasn't fit king, so he pretended to see it. However, one child cried''The emperor is nothing at all on!!'' when the time of march. For the first time, the emperor realized that what people were saying was correct.

I learned a lesson for this tale. It is ''we cannot make accurate decisions if we have a pride or vanity''.

Snow White

I read ''Snow White'' too.
Once upon a time, a queen got a little daughter. But when a child was born, the queen died. The child was so beautiful as white as snow and as red as blood and as black as wood-frame. So she called ''Little Snow White''
After a year passed, the King took him another wife. She was beautiful, but she proud and haughty woman. And she had a wonderful looking-glass. The glass told the truth, so a new queen often asked the glass ''Who is the most beautiful woman in the world?''. Then, the glass answered ''It's you''.
However, one day the glass told her ''The most beautiful woman is Snow-White''. A queen so shocked and hated the girl so much. Therefore she tried a lot things to entrap. But thanks to the beauty of Snow-White, she managed to dodge the traps of queen.
And at last, she was proposed by a price.

As you know, ''Snow-White'' is so famous tale in the world. Maybe it is because ''Snow-White'' is one of the Disney princess. However, Grimms' Snow-White is different plot from Disney's. Story of the Grimms is more cruel than that of Disney. I was especially surprised the last scene. I didn't know the queen was burnt. This is how, I think it is so interesting some difference of plot between well-known stories and originals.

I read ''The goose-girl'' collected by the brothers Grimm.
This story is a little bit grotesque, but I've never read it so I choose it.
One beautiful princess was taken a position by her lady. The lady pretended a princess, on the other hand, true princess was forced to pretend the goose-girl. However, at last, the truth came to light, real princess and prince lived happily.
 
Some parts of this story have cruel scene, but I felt relieved because the truth came to light, and the princess could be happy in the end. I think a lesson of this story is ''the truth is always come clear someday''. And I felt that I don't tell a lie as much as possible.

I read ''The Fairy''.

The story about two sisters. Their mother liked elder sister, but she didn't like younger one. The younger always forced to do houseworks. But one day, she helped a poor woman who was actually a Fairy. So the fairy cast a spell over the younger. The magic is coming out some flowers and jewels when she speak. Her mother and her elder sister saw this, they want fairy to cast a spell over the elder too. But she didn't help the poor woman, and she made the woman angry. So she was presented a gift that coming out snakes and toad when she speak.

I think a lesson if this story is ''we should have a kindness for all people''. Perhaps somebody see our good or bad behavior.

The Cup in the Forest

They say 'This cup belongs to Hakon. Be careful!'

 Per and his girlfriend Nina were driving on a road near a big forest. They tried to enter and hike the forest. Inside the forest was very dark and quiet. As they walked through the forest, they happened to find an old, beautiful cup. When the cup was discovered, Nina thought it looked so expensive. The forest was eerie, so they hurried out of the woods and return to their car. When they left to the forest, Per felt like he saw a man. It was getting dark, so they decided to stay in a hotel in a small town. In a small hotel, Per couldn't sleep because he saw a strange man. The man didn't move and answer some questions posed by Per. He told that Nina, but she couldn't see the man. Next morning, they took the cup to the museum. The museum curator told them to take back the cup to the forest. The curator told the cup and the forest. The cup belongs to a old viking, Hakon. And also there are some viking graves in the forest. After Per and Nina back to the hotel, they talked about the cup. Per thought the cup should be back to forest, but Nina didn't want to do that. Nina thought she sold it, and get a lot of money. So she took the cup, and was driving away. She drove for a long time, but suddenly, she saw a strange man on the road. His face was dark and angry. Nina was very afraid, and she couldn't stop the car and see the road. She only saw the man's angry face. The car hit a tree, and fell into the river. Per rushed after Nina, but when he arrived she was in the water. That moment, Per saw a strange man taking the cup to the forest.

This story like a horror, but it is a good story to tell us that a person with bad ideas will be punished. I think it is a good lesson in this story.

Global Lounge

Today, I went to Global Lounge. Vio explained about Global Lounge systems. I was interested in movies. I've seen some of them, such as ''Pict Perfect'' and other Disney's movies and Oceans series. When I saw some movies shelf, Vio was nearby, so I asked him what he recommend. He told me one romance movie, so I thought I will borrow it next time.  And we played some games by using iPad, and we talked with Vio. We also saw some posters that might made by students. They were written about Aso. I like Aso, so it was really interesting. This was the first time I came to Global Lounge, so I wanted to come to this place to blush up my speaking skills, or to get knowledge for other languages.
